1. Product Overview

The Vibrate Feeder is the key feeding machine that links elevating and weighing in a fresh-food box and can filling line. Its mission is not speed but uniformity and gentleness: it delivers washed, still-moist, easily clinging vegetables and fruit to the multihead weigher as a thin, even product bed at a continuous, adjustable rate, so that every combination-weighing cycle receives stable, sufficient and intact product. Unlike high-speed vibratory feeders built for constant-flow snack-food lines or two-in-one multi-scale distribution, this machine redefines the vibration parameters for wet, high-moisture, fragile fresh produce: low-frequency gentle vibration with variable-speed control suppresses bouncing, tumbling and mutual compression inside the trough at the source, preventing leafy greens from re-clumping and berry skins from being damaged. The feeder is built entirely from food-grade stainless steel with mirror polishing and quick-release structures, engineered for wet areas that are washed down frequently.

2. Anti-Sticking and Anti-Clogging: The First Challenge of Fresh Produce

Wet leafy greens and cut vegetables carry abundant free water and natural juice on their surfaces. On an ordinary trough they easily stick to one another and to the trough wall, forming clumps and blockages — and once the feed blocks, the downstream multihead weigher starts empty-weighing immediately and the whole line rhythm is disrupted. Our solution combines physical anti-stick design with vibration control. The product-contact surfaces are mirror-polished stainless steel with low surface energy so material does not cling. At the same time, vibration frequency and amplitude are finely tuned so that product maintains an ideal "micro-tossing, continuous sliding" motion, constantly loosening and renewing the product bed so that surface water cannot glue adjacent items into lumps. For delicate berries such as strawberries and blueberries, an even lower-frequency gentle mode can be selected, keeping flow smooth without bouncing damage. Even under long continuous feeding, no retained layer or clogging dead spot forms inside the trough — truly "wet but not sticky, flowing but not blocked."

3. Gentle Frequency Control: Tuned for Every Fruit and Vegetable

Fresh produce varies enormously in physical behaviour: whole peppers roll easily, leafy greens are fluffy and entangling, berries are delicate, beans are smooth and prone to jumping. The vibration system is frequency-controlled, and the operator can recall preset product recipes from the touchscreen, matching the optimum vibration frequency, amplitude and bed depth for leafy greens, fruit vegetables, berries and beans separately. Changeover requires no mechanical adjustment — parameters switch automatically with the product recipe. Low-frequency, small-amplitude settings keep product in its natural posture while moving forward: no tumbling, no jumping out of the trough, no stacking pressure, laying the foundation of product integrity for the weighing and packing stages that follow.

4. Anti-Corrosion Design for Wet Environments

A feeder in a fresh-food wet area operates in constant high humidity and dripping water, and the product itself carries high moisture, so corrosion resistance directly determines service life and food safety. The trough, frame and spring seats are all food-grade stainless steel — no exposed carbon steel parts that could rust and contaminate product. Welds are continuously ground and passivated, leaving no moisture-retaining micropores. The whole machine is arranged for easy drainage with no standing water in the trough base, and the vibration drive uses waterproof seals placed outside the product zone. The feeder withstands high-frequency fresh-water rinsing and gentle disinfectant cleaning after every shift, staying bright and clean for years without rust, contamination or flaking.

5. Coordination Within the Fresh-Food Box & Can Filling System

Positioned between the bucket elevator and the multihead weigher, the vibrate feeder acts as a buffer and conditioner: it receives the flow from the elevator, shapes it into an even, continuous thin bed, and delivers it to the weigher's center hopper at a precisely settable rate. The stability of the feed rate directly determines the efficiency and accuracy of the combination weigher — excessive flow overloads the weigh hoppers, while interrupted flow causes idle empty weighing. Interlocked with upstream and downstream equipment, the feeder's flow rate follows the weigher's real-time demand, achieving precise "as-much-as-needed" feeding that keeps the line running at its optimum efficiency. When connected to the box/can packer, the feeding rhythm also self-matches the packing speed.

6. Applicable Products

Suitable for washed wet leafy greens (lettuce salad leaves, spinach, mixed salad), whole and cut vegetables (peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumber pieces), berries (strawberries, blueberries), mixed beans and any fresh produce requiring anti-sticking, anti-clogging, low-damage uniform feeding.

7. Hygiene and Safety

Designed to FSMA sanitary design principles: no dead corners, easy strip-down cleaning, and a quick-release trough that makes every wash thorough and residue-free. Moving parts are enclosed and guarded against pinch risks; electrical components are waterproof and isolated for wet-area operation. Upholding "Hygiene First · Safety First," the feeder is designed and built by an engineering team founded in 2019 with more than 10 years of experience.

8. Maintenance and Cleaning

The quick-release trough and guide structures can be removed for rinsing within minutes, and deep cleaning needs few or no tools. The vibration unit is maintenance-free by design; spring assemblies have a long service life and are simple to replace. The variable-frequency control system includes self-diagnostics, cutting downtime for troubleshooting and keeping the machine highly available through peak-season continuous production.

9. Selection and Service

Trough length and width, vibration style, installation height and the interface to the multihead weigher can all be customized to your line. Please share your product types, capacity and site layout — our engineering team will recommend the best vibratory feeding configuration and provide installation, commissioning, operator training and long-term after-sales support.
