1. Product Overview
The vibrate feeder is the row-dividing unit of the secondary packaging line. It distributes already-formed finished small packs to downstream machines in the required lane count, spacing and rhythm. In a secondary packaging scenario, upstream discharge usually arrives as wide rows or mats of finished packs, while downstream stations — the multihead counting/check-weighing stage and the bundling machine — require packs to enter "one at a time, evenly spaced". Using controlled vibratory conveying and guided lane division, this machine performs the orderly conversion from "one wide mat" to "neat single lanes".
Founded in 2019 with an engineering team that has specialised in sanitary conveying and feeding equipment for over a decade, Globule designs in line with FSMA sanitary design guidelines. The machine is built to food-factory standards and suits the secondary packaging of biscuits, confectionery, extruded snacks, nuts, daily chemicals and pharmaceutical packs.
2. Difference from Bulk Vibratory Feeders
A conventional vibratory feeder meters powders or granules out of a hopper; it chases discharge rate and uniformity, and nobody cares if the material chips or breaks. This machine divides finished packs into orderly lanes, so its technical focus is completely different:
Anti-overlap
● — vibration parameters and the conveying surface are designed so packs travel flat, single-layer, one after another; two packs can never ride on top of each other. If abnormal stacking is detected, the system automatically slows or stops and alarms;
Anti-misfeed / anti-wrong-lane
● — lane guides and photoelectric re-checking ensure every pack enters the correct channel, so no pack strays into the wrong lane and reaches the wrong downstream station;
Pacing control
● — vibration intensity is steplessly adjustable and interlocked with the upstream and downstream PLCs, delivering "feed when needed, feed as much as needed", giving the multihead weigher and bundler a continuous, stable queue;
Damage-free conveying
● — the surface makes full contact with the pack bottom under micro-vibration: no scraping, no impact, so printed film and seals stay perfect.
Bulk feeders chase "fast and plenty"; this row-dividing feeder chases "accurate and steady".
3. Typical Applications in the Secondary Packaging Line
Pre-multihead alignment
1. — combing wide rows of packs into single-file evenly spaced queues so every pack is reliably counted and check-weighed;
Multi-lane splitting
2. — dividing one incoming stream into two or more lanes to match bundler or packer capacity, balancing channel load and using downstream capacity fully;
Buffering
3. — acting as a buffer when upstream and downstream rhythms briefly differ, automatically storing and releasing packs to absorb speed fluctuation and reduce line stops.
4. Construction Highlights
Food-grade stainless work surface
● — polished stainless or hygienic-surface deck, flat and crevice-free, easy to flush;
Isolated vibratory suspension
● — vibration is isolated from the frame by damping elements, so the machine runs smoothly without transmitting harmful vibration to the floor or disturbing the accuracy of a neighbouring checkweigher;
Stepless amplitude/frequency
● — both can be tuned on site to pack weight, film type and conveying speed: light packs do not fly, heavy packs do not stall;
Quick-change lane tooling
● — guide and dividing parts use a tool-free quick-release design; lane count and width can be adjusted within minutes at changeover;
Smart sensing interface
● — photoelectric/vision interfaces as standard, supporting stacking detection, blockage detection and full-load interlock.
5. Hygiene and Safety Design
Following "Hygiene First · Safety First", every surface that contacts packs is food-contact grade, with no exposed lubricant and no horizontal dust shelves, and the machine is compatible with CIP and manual flushing. The vibratory motor and drives are fully enclosed and guarded with safety interlocks; noise is low, long-term operation is stable, and routine maintenance only involves checking the damping elements and guide wear.
6. Line Coordination and Customisation
Globule designs every feeder from a whole-line perspective: site surveys and customisation based on pack size, incoming rhythm, downstream lane count and capacity. The feeder can be supplied and commissioned together with conveyors, bucket elevators, multihead weighers, fast-back conveyors, stainless platforms and bundling machines as one integrated package. We also offer a pack-testing service — send us your actual product, and we will verify anti-overlap, anti-misfeed and rhythm performance on a pilot machine, let the data speak, and then issue the technical proposal.
7. Service Commitment
Since its founding in 2019, Globule has held to "Hygiene First · Safety First", offering selection consulting, proposal design, installation and commissioning, operator training and remote technical support. Choosing a Globule vibrate feeder means choosing reliable supply with no overlapping packs, no mis-feeds and a stable rhythm for your secondary packaging line.
